Large great value private plots; some small acreages with gorgeous views; rural and peaceful yet full amenities and gateway to the hinterland; away from the (increasingly) madding crowds of the coast, yet 15- 20 mins to Maroochydore CBD, beaches, airport (!). *Already* on a train line (albeit abysmal) to Brisbane - upgrading, track duplication and speed uncontroversial and in the offing, as opposed to the endless (seemingly unresolvable) debates about new tracks and lines and routes along the coast. Rumour has it that Nambour is on the cusp of/early stages of regeneration and boom, and you can feel it.
