"Ghetto Suburb, Hoons, Hardly Any Aussies"
Pimpama is the “Mount Druitt” of the Gold Coast. I lived there for 12 months, my car was broken into, my house was broken into twice, EVERY night there are burnouts that keep your kids awake and the way EVERY person in Pimpama drives is a total joke. The most aggressive and loud drivers on the planet. The only people that live in this suburb are young families or people from another country who rent. It’s mostly just renters entirely. It’s without a doubt the single most bogan suburb of the Gold Coast and I would urge you to consider living literally anywhere else (unless you are a burn out loving loser hoon). People really only live here because they can’t afford anything else.
Check the Pimpama social media groups - thousands of complaints of youth crime, break ins to cars and houses, and the hooning/burnout situation is pathetic.
The people that live here turned it into what I’d say is one of the worst places in Australia
There are so many great suburbs on North Gold Coast.. Pimpama is really the only bad suburb. I wish we could just pick it up and plop it next to Logan where it belongs.
Hi Hannah I am a widow living in Heathcote 2233. I am looking at The Gem Life Resort. I have heard mixed reports in Pimpama. As a former NSW resident, I would value your opinion Regards Barbara
Pimpama has quickly grown & changed - it is basically a part of Coomera. It is your typical suburbia area, with lots of parks and open spaces, theres a big Bunnings, Woolies, coles, restaurants and cafes. You are about 20-40 mins from everything in brisbane and The Gold Coast. House prices went up around $100,000 in the last 12 months alone. The schools and affordability are making it a hot suburb. As interest rates go up people are being pushed further to suburbs like Pimpama pushing prices up.
