"'Get in while you can'"
My partner and I are a young couple who were looking to spread out to a place with a backyard, after spending 2020 in lockdown in our small apartment in the Melbourne inner city suburbs. With the state of the housing market atm and as first home buyers, Frankston North was one of the few places we could actually afford. And we’re so glad we could - Frankston North’s old bad rep is definitely outdated! Our neighbours are wonderful, we’re a five min walk from the Pines Flora and Fauna reserve, a five min drive to Seaford beach and a 7 min drive to the shops, bars, restaurants and breweries in Frankston - not to mention the wineries and incredible beaches and parks throughout the Mornington Peninsula! The neighbourhood is really booming, with lots of work going into brightening up houses around the area and a lot of government funding going into the schools and community spaces. Would definitely recommend Frankston North to anyone looking to branch out and create their first home, in a beachside suburb that is really on the up!
