"Nice street to raise family"

I lived in this street for 27 years and raised two boys. I recently rented my house there to a nice young family.
The neighbourhood has been friendly with a Christmas tradition of Santa in the street on Xmas day every year to date.
There is a multicultural mix of friendly neighbours and at Christmas there are street BBQs and everyone is invited.
You can lay in bed with your window open on a hot summer night and listen to the waves crash on the rocks.
My boys used to put their surfboard or boogie board under one arm, a towel over their shoulder and walk to the beach. Now they have a skateboard rink in park near the beach. The beach parks are lovely and we now have lots of restaurants opening around beach.
Its like being on holiday without leaving home.
Downside: Occasionally your neighbour/their visitors might park across your driveway. This usually only happens on a Saturday when everyones home but a polite request to move always gets a prompt response. Most of the pets are pampered so not much in way of stray cats or barking nuisance dogs from my recollection.
