"A lovely historic village which is close enough to the city but close enough to the country"
Westbury is only 25 minutes from Launceston, so it is a very easy commute if necessary. Westbury has all you really need, IGA, bank, vet, doctors, butcher, fitness facilities, parks, Meander Valley Council, churches, playgrounds, post office, hairdressers, petrol station, restaurants, B & B's, pub, bottle store, takeaways and more. It is not a big village, but big enough. 15 minutes away is Deloraine which is a bigger service town if you require more services. Westbury has great parks and recrwtaion facilities with the Village Green, Common and Recration Ground all being available and free fro all to use. It has lots of trees and has picturesque vistas of the Great Western Tiers and farmland.

"An historic village which is progressive, friendly and welcoming"
William St is the hub of Westbury which has the local IGA supermarket, Commonwealth Bank, Post Office, Hob Nobs Restaurant, Chemist, Personal Training Studio, Library, Butcher, B & B's, Secondhand shop and more. The crossroads lead to the Meander Valley COuncil, Town Hall, Village Green, Hairdresser, Recreation Ground, Cricket Ground, Skate Park, Tennis Courts and Bike track. Westbury is a flat and enjoyable place to live especially if you like getting outside - it has great walking paths, historic homesteads and is very dog friendly.
