"A tightly held suburb"
I feel a little smug when walking around Croydon knowing that I own a property here. The houses are beautiful and historical, Queen St attracts customers from all over Adelaide, we have nice parks and shopping is a breeze at either Foodland or Welland Plaza. A concert at the Gov or the Entertainment Centre or a soccer match at Hindmarsh Stadium - all minutes away.
It is a beautiful neighbourhood to walk in, with beautiful trees, quiet streets and lovely homes as a backdrop. Neighbours say hi when prompted but tend to keep to themselves.
Getting out onto South Rd can be painful at the best of times. Alternatively there is the train. It is so convenient having the train station so close and then a quick 6 minute ride and you are in the city.
It is truly a charming location only minutes from the city and just a little further to the beach.
