Carwoola Street

"Something for everyone - peaceful, friendly street"

Great street with a good community of friendly neighbours. There's a good mix of people who live in Carwoola Street - from young families, to professionals and retirees, it has high appeal to all stages of life.

A peaceful setting, the street is surrounded by bushland with abundant birdlife, it's hard to believe that the city is only a few minutes away. There are bike paths and walking tracks and the rugby field for those who are into being active. Mount Coot-tha is just down the road with more bushwalks and cycling for the energetic.

There's a bus stop at the entrance to Carwoola Street and regular buses throughout the day that go through Paddington and into the city - approximately 20 minutes to Roma Street.Very convenient for commuting to work and the journey is a pleasant one.

There has been an annual Street Christmas party for a number of years and it's one of the few places where I've know a majority of the people in the street, even if just to say hello to. Which is something I love about living there. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly place to live.

Bardon state primary school topped the highest average score in the 2010 NAPLAN tests for the state so a good recommendation for someone looking for a good local primary school as it is only 10 minutes walk from Carwoola Street.
