Barton Road (not to be confused with Barton Street) runs adjacent to the river and at the end of the street is a little alcove where you can sit and watch the boats go by. It's a neighbour secret where couples go and watch the sunset over the river in the afternoon with their dogs. The street is wide and has a very nice feel. Perfect for professionals or families as you can walk to hardcastle park an catch an express city cat to the CBD and there are so many parks within walking distance. You only need one car and can easily walk to Oxford street for dinner/ movie but don't have the traffic and cars constantly parked outside your door that the streets closer towards Bulimba have. Best of all you are on a hill and capture the breeze! I love living here. Highly recommended!
