Roma

"Awful town"

If you want your house broken into atleast once a week this is the town for you.
All I can say is if you do make the awful decision to move to this town avoid the main real estate in town. Hint they are in the plaza.
The houses are poor quality expensive and repairs are rarely carried Out unless you breach them multiple times
Not to mention once you rent through them the only way you’ll get out of the real estate is if you move towns. You won’t get a house through t he other real estates once you go through these guys. I don’t know if they give their tenants bad reviews but this isn’t just an issue I’ve had everyone I know who have tried to get out of this real estate have had the same problems.
The local kids will let your dogs out at 2 am in the morning and if you say anything you a racist so there’s that.
Plenty of jobs but not many actually hiring.
Say they want experience but then reject people with years and then proceed to advertise job for months.
The locals are nasty rude pricks
I worked in one of the grocery stores and Roma has cured me of ever working retail again.
Told to kill myself on multiple occasions because of stupid stuff like the fact they can’t have five tins of formula.
Nothing for young people only shit for old people.
Poor kids in town have turned to vandalism because they are soo bored

The real estate I go through is absolutely wonderful. I care for my home like it is my own. I did the same with my last rental and have never had an issue with real estates in town. They also fix things really quickly.

Ive always found the people here friendly and cant walk down the street without half a dozen people saying gday or having a chat. Guess it just depends on the type of energy you put out there.

I currently work three jobs in three different industries. There are heaps of jobs here but they do try to look for the right people to fill them.

There are plenty of things for the kids like parks, fishing spots, local swimming pools and free family friendly events and walking tracks to entertain the kids.

Some let the neighbours know when their animals are out.

This town puts out what you put into it. Ive always found it to be a warm welcoming place where everyone becomes a local.
