Midland has everything that you need, it is extremely convenient for shopping, you rarely need to drive very far to get something. There are a lot of new units and townhouses which are currently coming down quite a bit in price (for rent at least). So for ease and convenience it is very good. The down side of Midland is that there are a lot of areas that are unkempt and do not give off a safe and secure vibe, and you hear of a lot of crime (and hoon driving!!). Also, if you live near the shops like we did it can be very noisy. So I would say it is a convenient place to stay for a little while, a stop over for a year or so, but not where I would imagine settling down and making your forever home.
