Purchased a house here 7 years ago after living in 'better' class eastern suburbs, and have never looked back.

Sure, Epping has some issues, but the same issues exist in many parts of Melbourne and in suburbs where house prices are treble of those in Epping.

There are some fantastic pockets of Epping that are still super affordable. Spend a few hours around Lowalde street and meet the true locals.....ask questions, nobody is in a hurry around here! Kids have a ball exploring the Reserve.

I personally prefer the areas closer to Epping station near the Creek
If in the market to purchase, look south of McDonald Rd.

Dont be put off by comments of people who dont live in this undiscovered oasis....
