Duncansby Crescent

"Centrally located, walk to shops, public transport or minutes by car to the freeway. Friendly, wonderful neighbours."

We were first to buy land in the top part of Duncansby known as St andrews Heights. That was 27 years ago. We built our home from the ground up and as very young newly weds, adapted really well. We both came from the Bankstown, Fairfield area, and everyone thought we were moving out to the bush and mad. Duncansby is under rated in comparism to other area's, we have it all. Firstly, the neighbours are the same as when we first bought, we have seen their children grow, marry build their own homes and start their own families, we are all very close but don't live in each others pocket. Our children and all very close. We often have our drinks on the driveways, front lawns etc, we help each other out. Duncansby is located close to public transport, walking distance to schools, shops ( Doctor's, chemist, florist, supermarket, vet, dentist, chinese restraunt, real estate, news agent, bottle shop, boot markets, take away, sporting fields.)
Driving to Wollongong beaches is just 30 min by car, Campbelltown and Macarthur Square is just 10 min, Liverpool Westfield 10 min, Narellan, 10 min, Camden under 15min. Sydney airport around 30min. Duncansby is located close by to the historic St Andrew homestead and the short walk up the street has a beautiful grassed area for a stroll with the dogs or just enjoy the views. Definatley has awesome views especially at night of all the lights. It has well established trees, and green, the homes are well maintained. Duncansby is only minutes to the Freeway to either the south or North. So you can be on the M5 or M7 in just a couple of minutes depending on the traffic. Once all the upgrades of the freeway are completed the trip into the city or home again will be so much easier. To go to Macarthur Square via the freeway will take you 8 min. We are very central. Duncansby doesn't have a gym, you don't need one, due to the fact you can walk where you want to go you get your fitness.
