Surrounded by picturesque mountains in the valley of Tuggeranong, Gordon has the best of everything - beautiful bush walking at your doorstep to escape the daily grind along with easily accessible public transport and on average not more than 20-30 mins from the city centre; less than 5 mins to convenience stores and a larger shopping mall (tuggeranong hyperdome). From living in Gordon 22 years id recommend it to anyone who's looking for a safe, low key child friendly neighbourhood. Definitely worth checking out the christmas lights in December - Rated some of the best in Canberra!
