Certainly one of the Hills Districts best suburbs. Closer to the city and transport when compared to some other hills suburbs. There is still lots of forest areas, walking tracks and paths. Beautiful big Sydney Blue Gums in parts around the state forest. Very peaceful and very safe. Some very good schools (public and private) in the area. People are a bit more relaxed in West Pennant Hills - often spending lots of times tending to gardens and taking walks.

Obviously being a family area, there is no nightlife what so ever. However, Castle Hill, Epping, Parramatta are all only 10-15 mins away. There is also no train station in West Pennant Hills - but Beecroft & Epping are only a 5-10min drive (too far to walk). There are so great express buses to the city (20-25mins if express).

Real Estate can be expensive in some estates (houses can be >$2million in some areas).

Overall - a great family suburb. I could not recommend more highly for family looking for a nice, safe area. However, I would not recommend at all for young singles or even young professional couples with no children.
