We moved to Millner 4 months ago and love it! There's great facilities in the area, not too far from the Nightcliff shopping centre, fresh fruit & veg at the shops on Bagot Rd and of course the markets on Sundays. It's oh so close to the Homemaker Centre when you need ANYTHING for the home. There are also schools & ovals close by, not that we have kids, but it's good for exercising! Plenty of people out walking after work with easy access to the Nightcliff walking & cycling track as well. Maximum 15 minute drive to Darwin city, 5 minute drive to Casuarina and maybe 20 to Palmerston if you get every red light! It's affordable living in a nice peaceful suburb. Our apartment block is near loads of others, but we still feel like we're living in a quiet street. Our only gripe so far is the closest restaurants are all fast food. We love eating out and will have to hunt down some more local eateries. BUT, when everything is close by, we don't mind taking that 5 or 10 minute drive to eat somewhere nice. Can totally recommend Thai Thai across the road from Casuarina Shopping Centre!
