The local council is not easy to deal with.Need to look at the council policies for the area.Like every country town there are better areas then others so be careful if it seems too cheap look well about it.Limited job opportunities.
A nicer town in the area is Canowindra not as big, friendlier people ,wonderful high school with dedicated teachers.Can find some real bargains in real estate.Dealings with Cabone Council has been much easier and friendlier than Cowra council.Reasonable travelling distance to Parkes,Orange or Bathurst
