Flower Place

"Very friendly street, with easy access to world class services"

This street still has original residents. Although not an expensive area, most residents in Flower Place are professionals and owner -occupiers, either older retirees or families with younger kids. The main "traffic" is people walking their dogs or walking up to Mt Rogers (they always smile or wave). There is a strong neighborly attitude and occasionally a street bbq on the roundabout. Car traffic is quiet and people park off the street. Some use the convenient 315 bus around the corner to go to Belconnen, Canberra Uni and ANU, Calvary hospital, Civic and beyond, and there are also school buses from the same stop. You can walk to the local schools and it is an easy cycle to Belconnen on bike paths the whole way and to Melba, Evatt and Charny shops on paths or quiet streets.
