A suprising quiet street in a really great location. Fantastic access to public transport, quiet neighbours and friendly local traders. A very pleasant pocket in a hit and miss sort of town.

Whittlesea is a growing country town with a nice vibe. Great local identities and retailers hold together a strong community spirit with community services and an excellent local medical clinic and secondary college. Traffic on Plenty Rd can be very busy in peak times with new estates being built in neighbouring townships of Doreen, Mernda, South Morang and Whittlesea itself. Local restaurants are pretty ordinary, and public transport is limited to hourly bus services.

Hillcrest Rd is the perfect location for a relaxing with nature. Wake up to the kookaburras and have breakfast with the owls and kangaroos. Quiet and helpful neighbours on well appointed, well maintained blocks with privacy and space. A great community, with fantastic local restaurants, convenient public transport, friendly local retailers and regular community events for entertainment. Mosquitoes can sometimes be annoying in summer, and depending on your location on the street the mobile phone and TV reception is questionable.
