Muswellbrook is an awesome place, with numerous amenities and brilliantly placed buildings. You can look to your right and view the incredibly high mountains (very fun to hike) or look to your left and see the Honda dealership up the very top. We have multiple shopping areas, mainly the Woolworths building which is home to a lot of Muswellbrook classics (really good sushi, EBGames, etc,) and then the one closer to the outer rim, there are maritime services, dominos, a massive Harvey norman, Coles, Telstra, and Target. Everyone is really friendly and nice to socialise with. After a good 13 years of living and owning a family business there... you get to know quite a lot of people. 3-hour drive from Sydney too, by the way, really fast drive from country to city.
As part of The Great Dividing Range, it's the RANGES, not 'mountains. Have you ever seen a real mountain? But, I agree with you on that one. I love looking at the ranges. Telstra has moved from the 'Coles' area and is now at the Woolworths shopping complex. That 'great sushi' place has people ruder than the locals! I persevered ignoring the rudeness, but refused to take it after 6 months of such behaviour! Have you ever been to Muswellbrook? WE DON'T HAVE TARGET, NEVER HAVE!! WE HAVE BIG W!!
