We’ve lived in Guildford since April 2025 and have really appreciated what the area offers.

It’s a practical, well-connected place with good access to public transport, shops, and essential services, making day-to-day living easy. Despite being so well located, it feels more like a small village or town than a suburb, with an established, diverse community and a genuine, lived-in atmosphere rather than something overly curated.

Yum Yum Bakery is our local favourite — fantastic food and friendly, welcoming staff that make it a pleasure to visit.

Guildford has been a welcoming place to settle into a new chapter. It’s straightforward, convenient, and quietly dependable — a place that supports everyday life without fuss.
