Moriac St

"One of the few cul-de-sacs"

Quiet, leafy cul-de-sac backing onto the Tarragindi hillside. Most house are situation high above ground level. Many houses recently renovated, but are rarely sold. There are middle aged people that have lived their whole lives in this street.

"Very quiet street surrounded by forest. Full 1/4 acre blocks."

Daisy Hill

"Forest living, bigger blocks but still great for commuters"

Even though there is congestion on the Freeway, it is still faster to drive to the City from Daisy Hill in peak hour than many suburbs much closer to the city. When the Gateway merge upgrades are done it will be even better. You exit the freeway and and soon link up to a dual lane road that takes you to much of the suburb in a few minutes. You don't get the congestion you see in places like Eight Mile Plains, Mt Gravatt or pretty much anywhere on the North side.
We get to see wildlife such as Wallabies, lizards (including the occasional Goanna), Kookaburras, Echidnas and more on a daily basis.
There is a fair bit of older, cheap housing in the area which has experienced significant growth in price over the last few years and I suspect it will soon reach a tipping point where we will see a lot of bulldoze/rebuilds and renovations.
