Bayswater

"Great suburb to live"

I have lived here for about 3 years. Many of the areas have been rejuvenated with lots of new houses and renovations going on. It is great for family with children as there is a big fantastic playground my kids just love. Public transport is good as well with train station and bus hub. Grocery shopping is convenience as there are 3 major supermarkets: Aldi, Woolies and Coles. Regarding crime, we haven't had any problem so far. Within the first month of moving in I forgot to close my garage door so it was open for the whole night. We live in a busy street and we have some stuff that we put in the garage and nothing was stolen. We've had left the house unoccupied for 1 month and found it the way it was when we came home. For people who haven't seen the current Bayswater should check out and see how the suburb has evolved. From the info we received from council, there will still be some development in the area around the station. The cons is currently the suburb center hasn't got plenty options for eating out.

I agree with 'ince'. I have been here 3 years also and have had no problem. Neighbours very helpful. This suburb is definitely changing with the older people moving on and new families with little kids coming in. Very good for us!! Local school is ok - my kids settled in quickly and just got on with it. Good kind teachers and principal.
