Bowman Street

"Great if you can afford it"

I guess you could say that Bowman Street is like the Porsche of Inner city suburban streets. As far as localities go, you can't get much closer to the city other than being right in the centre of it, yet when you're walking around you get nothing of the noise or congestion that the city can sometimes throw at you. Take your pick of any of the 4 local parks to do what ever you like in, and as a resident, you have access to a choice of swimming pools and tennis courts. And of course the choice of places to live is amazing - great modern high rise spacious apartments or classy terrace houses, most with amazing 270 degree city views. There's not a better place to watch new years eve fireworks than off your High rise Bowman Street apartment balconey. Schools, UTS university, Ultimo Tafe, Medical Centres, Darling Harbour, Light Rail are all within 5 minutes walk. There's 6 "locals" to choose from, but if you want shopping, a quick walk into the city is the way to go. So much like a Porsche, Bowman Street impresses greatly upon first impressions, performs incredibly and exudes a certain prestige - but then you get to the price and walk away dreaming of what might have been...
