Wodonga

"City living & working with Country facilities close by."

I lived in Wodonga from 2018 - 2020 and it was a lovely place to live. The combined cities of Albury and Wodonga (Lets face it - its basically the same city) is a wonderful place. Lots of greenery, jobs, camping spots, outdoor activities, pubs, bars and good food spots. I've also lived in Melbourne, and Wodonga is similar to the northen suburbs of melbourne (think craigieburn etc) - but without the high prices, fast-paced lifestyle and full-tilt traffic (Although Traffic is increasingly getting worse). The Hume weir is a great recreational facility and the region is largely very family oriented. The VIC high country is a stones-throw away for day trips and camping - if you are into the outdoors you will love Wodonga. There are some absolutely derelict places and a few rough people about (some crime) - but overall Wodonga is a great place.
