Without a doubt, the worst place I've ever lived. Invest on bars on your windows if you don't want them smashed. Dubbo appears cosmopolitan compared to a Wellington, which speaks volumes. Constant loud disputes between neighbours, drunk louts returning late and very noisily on a Friday and Saturday night, violence and theft. The townspeople on the whole are close minded and bigoted. Give it a miss and try Mudgee or Orange instead.
