South Coogee has a more laidback vibe than Coogee, Clovelly, Bronte, Tamarama and Bondi which have a lot of transients. With the coastal walk nearby and some fantastic houses with incredible views, you're still close to amenities like schools, restaurants, cafes, hospitals, supermarkets etc. Walk to Coogee, Randwick or Maroubra easily. After living in Bronte on the coast, I'm so glad we moved to South Coogee. Enough excitement if you want it but nice and quiet at home. I spent many nights awake in Bronte. I've noticed in the last few years that prices have crept up so I'm guessing that it's good to get into the area before it's on par with the likes of Coogee, Clovelly and Bronte.
