We lived in Midland for a few years and absolutely loved it!. It is on the footsteps of the Swan Valley, beautiful old town with some amazing old buildings, great walks to Swan River with dogs, choice or public or private schools, private and public hospitals, all the shops and services within walking distance, close to Perth hills, public transport highl rated, multicultural, Sunday fresh farmers market every week, and new oval development coming which looks amazing. Quite often there was family events on which were great for the town. Yes there are crime and some undesirables but they are everywhere. You get a bit of everything in Midland. We enjoyed our time there but had to move interstate due to work commitments.
