It is a great suburb - particularly good for retirees. It is very quiet and the majority of people are house-proud with tidy lawns and manicured gardens.

Unfortunately, not so affordable anymore for families with young children. Not a great place for renters either but ideal for those wanting large homes in a quiet suburb and who are quiet.

The local woolies at Mayfair Village is considerably more expensive than nearby Birkdale, Manly and much more expensive than Wynnum. Rates have also gone up considerably.

This is a suburb best suited to retirees or professional couples. Limited street parking means that families with adult children will struggle to find parking.

This really is a beautiful quiet little suburb for the discerning retiree/professional.
