Overall, Elizabeth Downs is a very nice and quiet area. There is starting to be some nice trees lining the streets and there continues to be large amounts of green space/ parks in the area. In addition, a lot of new shops have been popping up in the area which makes life convenient. You could definitely raise kids in this area. Locals are by and large friendly. The best part of the area is definitely on the high side of the water pipe near Barrington St/ Top of Campbell Rd all the way back to McKenzie Rd and Burford St. Houses along this section are as a rule nicer than nearby Craigmore which people seem to think is a nicer suburb. There are just a couple of streets which have some issues. These are easily identified by large amounts of semi-detached houses present on them. Despite the perception that Elizabeth is a bad area I have had far less issues here than elsewhere in Adelaide.

People seem to look after the homes in this quiet street. There is very little through traffic on the street and it is a nice area for kids. There is also some open green spaces nearby and established trees on the street. The people who live on the street have also been nice to talk to.
