Berala

"Solid small suburb"

Berala is located in the Western suburbs of Sydney in close proximity to major commercial centres such as Bankstown and Parramatta. It is a very culturally diverse suburb with over 50% of residents born. There are large numbers of people born in China, Vietnam and Lebanon who reside in Australia and due to this there is a wide range of religions represented in Berala.

* Woolworths has been given the green light to open a store in Berala. This will definitely rejuvenate the local economy and bring more people to the streets.
* Public transport (especially the trains) are very good with frequent services to the CBD in the morning.
* Quite suburb (good for raising kids).
* Lots of parks (especially on the north side).
* Good mix of apartment and houses.
* Berala public school is very good
