Woodcroft

"Nice Place to Live"

I moved to Woodcroft in 2018 after already living in the southern suburbs my whole life and not actually visiting Woodcroft much. I was pleasantly surprised with the area and the easy access to the Southern Expressway as well as the affordable housing (for an area that is not a bad place to live) and the close proximity of shops.

11 minutes from Westfield Marion, but I also have a Woolworths (Woodcroft Plaza) approximately 500m away, or 1 minute drive, which is never busy. I actually didn't know that it existed until I moved here.

25 minutes to the CBD when traffic is quiet.
22 minutes to Mclaren Vale.
50 minutes to Victor Harbor.
Between 13-17 minutes to the closest beaches. Hallett Cove being the closest at 13 minutes and then Seacliff at 15 minutes, Port Noarlunga at 17 minutes etc.

As I said before, the commute to the city is approximately 25 minutes with no traffic but roughly 35 minutes with traffic (leaving at 7:30am) if you know the streets take to bypass South Road and Marion Road before you reach Daws Road. This should improve once the Darlington Upgrade is complete in the second half of 2019, meaning 80km/h speed limits and no traffic lights after Panalatinga Road until after Tonsley Boulevard.

I definitely recommend this place if you are wanting to live in the southern suburbs, as well as the surrounding areas such as Happy Valley and Flagstaff Hill.

Affordable, peaceful and also very centrally located in the south, nothing seems to be too far away.
