Kambalda

"It hasn't let us down"

I moved to Kambalda as a single teacher and am leaving 8 years later as a married women with a two children family. My husband has lived in Kambalda for 20years he moved here with his family as a child. Kambalda has lots to offer a young family, great work opportunities, friendly people (expect a weekly shopping trip to take awhile once you have finished chatting with everyone), great facilities i.e. the new recreation centre and swimming pool. The schools and the child care are very warm and welcoming places that offer some great programs for children 0-16years. Kambalda is the gateway to the Goldfields and has some excellent camping and picnic spots in very close proximity. Esperance is only 3hours away if you need to have a swim at the beach! The East Club offers a cold beer and a great feed as does the Country Club. If you are in to Football the local team is always looking for members and also has a very friendly Vets Team for those whose footy career is not quite over.

Who lives here?
