"Good place to buy, too expensive to rent"
With rentals for 3-4 bed hitting over $600/week this is a perfect place to buy that investment home. Prices for houses are not that expensive comparitively and everything is very close. There is the nearby Lake Moondara to go skiing on and heaps of areas to camp surrounding the town. There has been lots of development in the town centre so choice to eat out large. It is not at all like what had been written on 11/1/11.
Great for
- Everything is close
- Lots of free activities eg waterpark, skate park
- Good sense of community
Not great for
- Roads out of town may be seasonally cut
- No huge shopping centre - some choices limited
- High price to fly out of
