We bought in the Freshwater Estate, Griffin Aug 2016 & were completely new to the area. Love the community here. Neighbours are lovely and everyone is welcoming no matter who you are or what you look like. The parks are very popular with families and young kids walking/ riding around. There is also a dog park at one and BBQs and play equipment at others.
We enrolled at the Griffin State School for our 2 boys and it has been a pleasure to be apart of the school. It is a great environment and has a beautiful principle & staff who personally welcome families and children in every morning and farewells every afternoon.
June 2017 our own Medical Centre will open on Brays RD. Close to that on the corner or Tesch RD we are getting a 7Eleven petrol station, cafe, Gym, and some other shops.
Public Transport has improved so much in a few months with the bus stops throughout Griffin suburb connecting us to the new Train stations and North Lakes Bus Terminal giving people a new option to commute to the city.
