Newport
"The insular peninsular"
This suburb absolutely bleeds this affectionate saying. Cut off from most of Sydney, one road in, one road out. You’ll find little diversity in these parts, and a very opaque community. Steep hills and overpriced houses. Beautiful beaches but then again, every kilometre of cost in australia is beautiful. There’s also a large amount of undisciplined children who roam the streets here.

Demographics in Newport have changed significantly in the last 5-years. Contrary to popular belief. A significant portion of new residents who've relocated to Newport have come from outside the northern beaches LGA.
