Garbutt Place

"Safe, friendly tucked away"

I stayed with a friend in Garbutt Place, bout 4 weeks ago,and I must admitt whilst on my visit, I did admire the very friendly safe street, the kids could play in the street with other children and not worry bout fast cars and the residents all look out for one and other. The only downfall to living in Garbutt Place is the constant sickening smell, due to a chicken farm operating approximatley 20 metres from the homes in Garbutt Place. The smell left a terriable odour in her clothes, washing, house, furniture everything, I was there for 4 weeks and iam still trying to get the odour out of my belongings. They have terriable trouble with not 1 or 2 but plagues of mice which I can only assume come as a result of the chichen farm. They would get rid of 2 or 3 only to find more eating at the kids clothes, food and furniture.
Tractor and heavy machinery noise late at night till early hours of the morning this went on for approximately a week and the workers were not at all quiet. I must say it would be a very safe and friendly street to live in, if you could stand the terriable stench which lingers in every inch of this street.
