Croydon North

"A hidden gem of an area"

Croydon North is a peaceful and rustic pocket, hedged between Wonga Park, Croydon Hills and Chirnside Park. It has larger blocks and well presented homes and it is just a short drive to Eastlink or the Maroondah Highway and has village style shops and high quality schools including Yarra Valley Grammar within walking distance. The area has wandering hills and lots of walking tracks along the creeks and reserves. We moved here 2 years ago and love the lifestyle. There are plenty of families in the area and on the weekend you can easily get to Warrandyte, the Yarra Glen wineries or Eastland Shopping town depending on your preference. The area is ideal for families and empty nesters. The area is also a great investment as house prices have risen dramatically in early 2010 and as Melbourne's population grows, areas like this with larger blocks and homes will become more and more desirable. Equivalent suburbs in Sydney (where we moved here from) are full of seven figure homes now. It is also dog friendly with lot's of doggy friendly reserves.
