We have lived in Brandon for the past 15 years and Love it! Brandon is a quiet safe town to bring up the kids you dont have to worry who is walking the streets as everyone is locals. There is a local pub with a drive thru they serve great meals and take away pizza's. There is a convenience shop that sells breakfast lunch and dinner fish and chips and your everyday house hold supplies. There is also a Post Office with a gift shop. Brandon also has a great kids park with a basketball court and public toilets. Ayr is a five minute drive away and townsville is 45minutes away. There is a great public school which was just named one of the best schools in queensland. Great fishing spots and plenty of areas to ride your motorbikes. If we ever upgrade our home we will be rebuilding here in Brandon!
