"young family who loves the area"
when we bought our first home here we felt as if it was so far from "everything" but it was what we could afford.
After living here a very short time I soon realised that "everything" was ALOT closer than I thought. 12 minutes drive to Nerang. 5 minutes to Westfield Helensvale. Our favourite beach 10 minutes away. Lots of great parks and areas for families. Lit walkways of a night time for walking. Talk of the new Westfield going in.
Another major Pro is that my partner is in construction and can be based in gold coast onee week then brisbane the next. We are in the middle of Gold Coast and Brisbane, so now, it doesnt concern him where he is.
Great for
- Great for families
- In between Brisbane and Gold Coast (work either)
- Lots of developments happening
Not great for
- Public Transport could be better
- Needs more childrens facilities based here (dance schools, pool, library etc)

The closest beach is 35 Minuit drive away at midnight.
On Sunday morning the closest beach is 1.5hr drive in traffic....
