Pooraka

"Noisy place to live! unsafe, but it depends also where is your house located, you can have good neighbours but it is a lucky thing."

Pooraka has some good streets, with clean gardens and very well care of houses, but crime and pubs,close to Bridge Rd, is a pain ! . I am not recommend this st for Families. Priscilla st is very nice, but not sure about the neighbors. everything depend of the people you are surrounded, of course there is very nice people, but how to know about your neighbors before buying or renting!

I agree with the spike in crime but it has only been recently, I live on the other side of montague road and its a really lovely part of pooraka, I recommend you look there.

Which side is better south or north side of Pooraka?

Probably the north side as the homes are newer, but if your after a older home on a larger block the south side is better.

How about south side Christie beach, Seaford and Christie Down?
