Hornsby

"Boring but aspiring to be "Little Paris" - No Paris here!"

Very Australian and unaccepting. Cheaper housing but you'll travel for anything good, that includes a coffee. Locals look after locals. Must fit in and go camping, drive a similar car, don't aspire to greatness. Tall poppy syndrome alive and well.

Great for

  • Surrounded by national park.

Who lives here?

  • Retirees

I've found it a very multicultural and accepting area, my children attend a school with 85 different nationalities represented and it is a happily diverse community. It's not Paris, it's Hornsby.

If you walk around the station and surrounding streets you will see it is just a dirty slum full of junkies and homeless people
