Two minutes to school, train, uni, Gateway Motorway, shops, Sandgate Road. Five minutes to airport, Toombul Shopping Centre, Nudgee College, beach/fishing (Nudgee Beach). Ten minutes to Chermside Shopping Centre, Brisbane Entertainment Centre and cafe's at Sandgate. Buy and renovate, or buy, demolish and build. Banyo is still affordable. Some streets have City views. I walk to train and 22 minutes on the train to work in the City. Easy Peasy. You will find that not many people have heard of Banyo, though most had heard of its close neighbour, Nudgee, possibly because of Nudgee College.
