Rosanna

"A great place to live, with serious long-term potential"

We own our home in Rosanna, and I'd buy here again. For family living and long-term potential, I think it's one of Melbourne's most compelling suburbs.

The community is the standout. Neighbours become like family and the local café is somewhere you make friends. You have leafy streets, Rosanna Parklands, a train station, Woolworths and the new library. It's peaceful, green and practical for everyday life.

My favourite pocket is east of Rosanna Road, towards the Yarra parklands. I'd focus on the quieter streets, as homes directly on Rosanna Road have the traffic to contend with.

I'm bullish on prices long term because of the change I can see happening. Ivanhoe and Eaglemont already have $2m+ family homes. In Rosanna, I'm seeing older houses on large blocks replaced by substantial two-storey homes. People are spending serious money to build a life here.

My view is that many of those owners will stay for decades, with fewer of those properties returning to the market. As Melbourne grows, I expect more buyers to recognise what Rosanna offers. That combination is why I see strong potential for price appreciation.

I believe Rosanna will increasingly be spoken about alongside suburbs like Ivanhoe and Kew. We chose it for the life we can have here now, and I'm confident about its future.
