We moved to Tarneit from the Mornington Peninsula 3 months ago and absolutely love it! The suburb is as close to the Melbourne CBD as it is to they You-yangs and other natural places, but Tarneit also has a lot of parks and wetlands to enjoy. Most of the streets are very wide, tree lined (even if many are still newly planted) and most houses are cared for and look amazing. I compare this to much of the eastern/south eastern suburbs where many houses are just falling down because no-one cares.
