After living in multiple suburbs of Brisbane I couldn’t recommend anywhere more than Fig Tree Pocket. The people are friendly, it’s nice and quiet yet only 15 minutes from a capital city outside busy traffic times. You feel like your in the country with a river and lots of parks and playgrounds for kids.

Although places aren’t as cheap as other locations, for what your getting and such a sense of community mixed with extremely low crime rate, it’s worth every cent.

Only 5 minutes drive to one of the largest shopping centres in Australia. Everything you could need is within reasonable distance.

If you considering moving to Brisbane and are looking for a leafy and quiet suburb with great hearted people, I recommend you check out Fig Tree Pocket.
