Neetinghu

A gorgeous country town in the New England region with fascinating history (the first city in Australia to turn the lights on) with lots of industry as well as festivities (the Country Music Festival being one of them) and lot of nice homes with decent affordability (North, Central West) and affluence (East).

As pointed out, there is quite some imperfections thats been pointed out, particularly a few areas, where crime is a big issue in those areas (something that will hopefully be addressed in the future, though in terms of the entire town and it being regional and rural, it's not something that is unique) so when you make a purchase, tread carefully and think where you want to purchase.
Recommendations to avoid making a regretful purchase would be out West (Coledale to some) and South (Robert St mainly).

Stick to East, North and even Central West Tamworth and it shouldn't be a problem.
