The suburb is a hidden gem! Close to the airport, city, eastern suburbs beaches yet so affordable! Get in quick as prices are growing as more and more as people realize what a great place it is to live! Decent size blocks of land and schools close by. Airplane noise is actually not that noticable, maybe we got used to it, you just hear one going once in a while. Nothing like sydenham! They fly right above your head there! Highly recommended if your looking for a something affordable in the east.

We have lived in Eastlakes for 5 years and we love it! Shopping Centre close by Woolies, Aldi, Chemist Fruit shops butcher etc everything you need! With Westfield Eastgardens less than 10mins away you get your retail therapy! Great parks for the kids around, schools close by. Coogee beach 12 min drive, Transport to the city is 15 mins to CBD by car, closest train is Mascot. The council is good to deal with always mowing nature strips etc. Neighbours are friendly and always there to help. Highly recommended!
