Fig Tree Pocket

"Pretty and leafy suburb, lots of open green space"

I think this is one of Brisbane's most underrated suburbs; bigger than average size housing lots, a huge amount of parkland and open green space spread throughout the suburb, some terrific walking trails along the river, and overall a very quiet and safe suburb. A fantastic location for families, yet only 11kms from the CBD (about 20-30 mins by car) and only five minutes from the nearest shopping precincts. It has become very expensive to buy into in the last few years, but it's not hard to see why once you spend some time here.
