I have lived in Butler for 10 years. Like all suburbs, it has it's good and not so good areas. I feel safe and happy here and the access to local shops brilliant. There is a mix of cultures and the general feel is that people want their community to be a great one. The parks are clean and well maintained with plenty of families using them for parties and barbecues. With the train station now open, there's easy access to the city only 40 minutes away, and there's plenty of buses.
With the beach only 10 minutes walk away, and a thriving community, I would thoroughly recommend this suburb for families. It is still affordable and it's still expanding.
