We moved here from Brisbane a bit over a year ago and we've had zero problems with break ins and violence. I feel like the suburb cops a lot of flack from way back when. The area is definitely experiencing gentrification and changing for the better. Exercising safety anywhere and common sense is a big one - not leaving vehicles unattended and on, not locking your car etc. to not be an easier target pays off.

Depending on which pocket you're in, it's a pretty decent suburbs with some of the only relatively affordable prices to purchase in within Brisbane's reach. Fantastic city with so many amenities to offer within 12 odd k's to Ipswich CBD and so many shops and eateries from Collingwood Park, here and down to Springfield - you will absolutely love it!
